Synopsis:
Kozue Ayuhara is a member in her high school volleyball team which is considered one of the best in Japan. However, she's not the best player and often make mistakes. Nevertheless, this year she's chosen to play on the national team instead of her best friend Midori, who's more skilled than she is and was picked last year. Everyone is her high school seems to turn hostile towards her including Midori. She decides to participate anyway.
While in the national team, Kozue meets other talented players. She has to work harder than before to rise and keep her level same as them. Furthermore, her new coach is a strict man with high demand and is willing to go to the extreme to get the best out of them. Can Kozue cope with it?
